Gammal information, men det enda jag har. Saxat ur en post av en fransman på ASC. Paris cigarr Here we go again... The best Parisian tobacconists, in no particular order, are: Tabac des Quatre Temps Centre Commercial des Quatre Temps 92092 Paris La Défense Tel: 01 4774 7528 * Stuck inside a shopping mall in the La Défense business district, le Tabac has a small, but really well stocked walk-in humidor - and ample reserves in the aging room - with some very rare aged vitolas. What about some 7 years old Montecristo Especials or 9 yeras old Diplomaticos? And all of that at retail (prices are set by the French gov.)... Have a chat with Bernard Vuillot, the owner ad one of the nicest persons around, and maybe he'll find a box of aged R&J Churchills or some vintage Partagas Lusitanias. A la Civette 157, rue Saint Honoré 75001 Paris Tel: 01 4296 0499 *Selling tobacco and cigars since 1716, la Civette easily qualifies as one of the world's oldest runningtobacconists. Now part of the Davidof empire, la Civette has recently undergone major transformations, leading with a walk-in humidor with one of the best selections around. A few steps from the Louvre museum and the Palais-Royal/Comédie Française theater. La Casa del Habano 169, boulevard Saint-Germain 75006 Paris Tel: 01 4549 2430 *The Casa del Habano is a tobacconist, a bar and a restaurant. Very wide selection (including non Cubans), very good to excellent service. Have a Mojito downstairs while enjoying a premium Habano, then a couple of Cuban specialties in the restaurant with some nice Spanish wines. BTW, the bar and restaurant are opened til 2 AM (and more like 4 AM when the gang is having fun there) and have a nicely stocked humidor with cigars priced at retail (no restaurant/bar mark-up). Tabac George-V 22, avenue George-V 75008 Paris Tel: 01 4723 4475 *A very small shop with one of the best selections around. Everything Cuban is available here, or nearly everything. Most of the cigars are properly aged and can be enjoyed right away. La Boutique 22 22, avenue Victor-Hugo 75116 Paris Tel: 01 4501 8141 *Very close to l'Etoile/Arc de Triomphe/Champs-Elysées, la Boutique 22 was the first "luxury" tobaconnist in Paris and still is one of the best. Very good selection, very good to excellent service. Maison Lemaire 50, avenue Vicor-Hugo 75116 Paris Tel: 01 4500 7563 *Might have the widest selection, as Guy Pihan, the owner, doesn't only buy from Seita and Coprova, but also thru "parallel" importers. Quality is average to excellent, due to the absence of proper aging/storage chambers and varying suppliers. A top notch address nonetheless. Hoppas det kan vara till någon nytta.
