Saxat från HP: Counterfeit cigars incinerated The National Tobacco Institute (INTABACO) incinerated 10,085 boxes full of counterfeit cigars said to be worth RD$20 million. This was done in Santiago in the presence of Acting Attorney General Rodolfo Espineira and INTABACO officials. Also incinerated were insignia and other items such as trademark rings, trims, graphic art negatives, labels, and crystal tubes. The pirated brands included Cohiba, Davidoff, Romeo y Julieta, Macanudo, Monte Cristo, Arturo Fuente, Partagas, Habano, and Opus X. INTABACO Director Adalberto Rosa said that the fight against product piracy is part of the government's efforts towards protecting industrial property, as demanded by the FTA. Väntar bara på den första lirare som har en låda Opus X till ett jättebra pris att sälja, eftersom han känner familjen Fuente . |
